YES!  We know!
We know there is a problem with loading the confirmation page.  Unable to fix it, we asked the website company to correct the issue.  We are STILL attempting to use their workaround, to no avail.
SO, IF you clicked to submit your application, please know that it came through (EVERY Single Time you clicked on "submit") and now we have HUNDREDS of email applications we are are wading through to weed out all the duplicates.
We hope to have gone through all of them by the 20th of July.  IF you have not received an email reply by July 20th, please email us at [email protected] to inquire. 
Please give us this week to go through all of the duplicates so that we don't miss anyone.

Just think if you were paying an online bill and you kept clicking on the submit button....... how many times would your account be debited?  Well, we can tell you... MANY times.  Submit worked, confirmation did not work. 
We ask your forgiveness and patience as our all-volunteer workers take their personal time to go through your applications. 
We thank you for understanding that we are just like you:  volunteers with families, medical emergencies, regular paying jobs, and other life events.  We do our best, and THANK YOU for remembering that.

(Remember, Walk-Ins are NOT permitted!!  Please pass the word!!)

There are two (2) applications:
1 -- General Application to Participate for ALL applicants
2 -- Horse/Animal Application for those with animal units; BOTH application forms are to be filled out by those with animal units.

Both applications are available in PDF and SCRIBD (printable) formats which you may print, fill out, and mail in (or scan and email to us) as well as in the online form which you may fill out and submit at this website. 
You do not need to fill out a hard copy to mail if you submit the online form.
We strongly encourage you to utilize online submission. to save time and paper! 
If you fill out the online forms, you should receive a confirmation page showing that your online application has been submitted.  If you do not receive that confirmation page, please send us an email to verify receipt. 
We encourage you to print and keep a copy of the application.
Deadline for application is always July 15. 
Applications received after that date will not be honored.

    GENERAL Application to Participate 2024

    Responsible Party will make sure areas utilized by this participant entry are clean prior to parade step-off and that, in the case of horse units, the parade route is free of manure prior to parade step-off.  Additionally, horse units will make sure manure is cleaned up during the parade so that others do not have walk/march/drive/perform through manure in the streets.
    ALL PARTICIPANTS:  Areas at the line-up area and end-point should be left in the same manner in which you find them -- please pick up your litter and utilize the garbage cans provided!
    ALL UNITS, including horses and animal units, must complete the parade route -- exceptions granted for emergency service personnel and vehicles.
    **HORSE AND ANIMAL UNITS:  Please fill out the additional form and include with your application to participate!
    RETURN FORM AND BIOGRAPHICAL DATA BY July 15, 2024. 
    When submitting online, please wait for the Confirmation Screen   There will not be an email confirming receipt of application.

    HORSE / ANIMALS General Application to Participate 2024
    ALL SECTIONS MUST BE COMPLETED OR YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED -- if not related to your group, please mark "N/A"

    I, the Responsible Party signing below, do understand that my horse and/or animal unit MUST have a clean-up person (or persons) on site the day of the parade and will keep our area clean and free of manure.  If my unit does not have a "pooper scooper" on site, my unit will NOT be permitted to participate in the parade.  I do understand that parade officials will check on the horse and animal units to make sure there is someone cleaning up after the animals.  The clean-up person(s) MUST check-in at the sign-in desk.
    I further understand that horse and other animal units that have not applied for participation in the parade will not be permitted.  I understand that the parade instituted a no walk-in policy several years ago and this will be enforced.
    I also recognize that the parade is organized entirely by volunteers who are not responsible for cleaning up after my animals; by the same token, the townspeople are not responsible for manure left on their property by my animals.  I will make sure manure etc. produced by my animals is cleaned up promptly before, during, and after the parade.  I understand that not cleaning up after my animals will result in my being disqualified from participating in future parades.
    I agree that my unit will complete the parade route as outlined from the Cochranton Elementary School parking lot to the Cochranton High School parking lot.  My unit will not abort the parade to take a short-cut back to the fairgrounds or my vehicles.  I understand that not completing the parade route will disqualify my participation for the 2024 (and future) parades.
